Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Location: Fort Lauderdale
Position Overview: The Digital Marketing Communications Coordinator plays a key role in raising brand awareness for The Dan Marino Foundation (DMF). This position manages the digital library, maximizes DMF’s impact across a wide range of online and traditional communication channels, and supports fundraising efforts. The Coordinator maintains effective online platforms and delivers effective digital campaigns that resonate with diverse, global audiences to drive engagement from a variety of sources. This position reports to the Director of Event Operations.
Education/Experience: One to three years of experience delivering digital campaigns required; must be able to provide a portfolio of creative content. Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital communications, marketing, web development or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Location: Fort Lauderdale
Position Overview: The Employment Specialist develops relationships with employers to create internship and job opportunities for students and participants in Dan Marino Foundation (DMF) and Marino Campus (MC) programs. This position also assists individuals with developmental disabilities to create and implement a plan to successfully obtain and maintain a competitive employment position. The Employment Specialist provides job coaching during internship assignments and during initial periods of employment. The Employment Specialist reports directly to the Lead Employment Specialist.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of successful experience in counseling, job placement, job coaching or a public vocational rehabilitation program is required. At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities providing job coaching experience is preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Location: Fort Lauderdale and Miami
Position Overview: The Job Coach assists Marino Campus students by supporting their career development. This position oversees students as they gain work experience at employer internship sites and assists them in learning to perform job tasks to the employer’s specifications. The Job Coach also helps students learn the interpersonal skills necessary to be accepted as a worker at the job site. Various part-time shifts are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for a total of 20 – 25 hours per week.
Education/Experience: High school diploma and leadership skills required. Must also have own transportation, a valid driver’s license and flexibility for travel within Broward County. Work experience in education or with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
